Happy Monday, My Keto Friends! Here’s a yummy-looking recipe for you!
Hubby was looking over my shoulder as I was reviewing this and said “Looks like sh*t on a shingle.” When I told him they’re making keto biscuits and gravy his response was “Biscuits and gravy isn’t keto.” He was surprised when I told him that this version is…because they’re using keto ingredients.” His next question was: “There’s no grain in those?” and I said “Nope. Almond flour.” And he was like, “Wow. I’d try those!”
So, you have to know…it was pretty awesome that he said that, ecause he really enjoys grains. I’ve stopped baking much, but I love it when I find a substitute recipe for a traditional food I know he’d not only eat, but really love.
They incorporate all the key elements; the pork sausage (you could substitute turkey sausage), a heavy-cream and butter-based gravy, and almond flour instead of grains to make it keto-friendly
I’m going to have to cook some up and let you know what we think!
